What is a Kitchen Garden? A distinct area where your greens, vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers grow. Think of it as a Kitchen Garden store in your backyard. We will build a mini garden filled with various edible plants.Salad School will cover the snapshot of kitchen gardening, including planning, growing to feed you and your family, location, size &amp; shape, and materials. Join us while we slow down and reconnect. Gardening is a way to care for our body, mind &amp; spirit, and the earth while reducing waste and increasing our OVERALL health.Warning: If you are looking for an iceberg salad, this is not the class for you. Are you ready to up your salad to something inspiring? Get ready to up your salad repertoire to impress your taste buds, improve your health, and reduce waste worldwide. Gardening is good for your body, mind, and spirit, and studies say that playing in the dirt increases happiness. It works for me.

Come prepared for a hands-on workshop experience to feed your mind and soul by planting a salad garden to feed your stomach. Gain confidence alongside an experienced gardener while you learn. You get to select from a variety of cool weather plants and edible flowers. You will leave with a gorgeous mini salad garden box with at least nine plants and helpful handouts to take home.
