The Midtown Scholar Bookstore is honored to welcome #1 New York Times bestselling author Fredrik Backman to Harrisburg for an in-person event. Backman will discuss the forthcoming film adaptation of A Man Called Ove starring Tom Hanks, the long-anticipated conclusion to his beloved Beartown series, and his previous bestselling books. This is a ticketed, in-person event with a live-stream option via Zoom. Every ticket includes a signed, paperback copy with your choice of Fredrik Backman's books. Additional signed copies will be available for purchase at the event. Doors will open at 6:30pm, and the event will begin at 7:00pm. Virtual attendees will receive the event access link 24 hours and 1 hour before the event begins.The following books will be available for purchase:<ul><li>A Man Called Ove</li><li>Britt-Marie Was Here</li><li>My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry</li><li>Beartown</li><li>Us Against You</li><li>Anxious People</li></ul>Vaccination Requirements:You must show proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for entrance to this event. We will accept either a physical vaccination card, digital card, or a photo of the card on your phone. Per the CDC, people are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine.Event Policies:<ul><li>Seating is general admission; first come, first served</li><li>Masks are required</li><li>Cafe beverages + food will not be available during the event</li><li>Book browsing will not be permitted after 8pm</li></ul>
