BARI’s annual conference is a unique forum for members of Boston’s civic data community to leverage cutting research to empower communities.

BARI’s annual conference is a unique forum for members of greater Boston’s civic data community to show how they are advancing equitable, data-driven research and policy in our region. This year we are especially interested in how ongoing and future work can inform (1) the numerous transitions in municipal leadership across the region and (2) the needs and interests of everyday community members. In doing so, we hope to seed multiple civic research agendas on the many systems and domains that shape everyday lives, from housing and education to public health and community development and beyond.Below you will find our Covid-19 guiadance as well as parking and transportation guidance for the conference:-Effective March 5th, masks indoors on the Boston campus will be optional for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contract employees. Those who wish to continue wearing a mask are free to do so.-Effective February 9th, events can be held in-person and no longer need to be reviewed. Guests and visitors to campus, including for Admissions tours, are expected to be fully vaccinated, but no longer need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test.-Masking guidelines are now based on local guidelines and mandates. Effective March 5th, masks indoors on the Boston campus will be optional for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contract employees, regardless of vaccination status. State guidelines still require people to wear masks in some settings, such as public transportation and inside medical facilities, such as University Health and Counseling Services (UHCS). -Individuals who had a COVID-19 infection in the past 10 days must wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask around others in their household and in public. Close contacts of people infected with COVID-19 must wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask around others in their household and in public for 10 days following their exposure, regardless of their vaccination status.-We understand that people may have different comfort levels when it comes to removing their masks, and we urge everyone to respect the decision of others regarding mask-wearing. Parking &amp; Public TransportationNortheastern is served by many convenient transit stops, such as Ruggles Station (via the Orange Line) and the Northeastern t-stop (via the Green Line) which serve the heart of campus. public transportation. For those traveling via car we encourage visitors to park in the 3 designated campus <a href="https://www.masparc.com/wheretopark/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">garages</a> .
