Aviation Fuel Handling Training Symposium

We are very excited to announce our first-ever Training Symposium with speakers from all major manufactures as well as representatives from United Airlines, EI, ASTM, SAE, IATA, and A4A (and more to come!).
Because of the continuing success of our annual Aviation Fuel Conference, and in reaction to urges from many of our customers and colleages, we have decided to host a larger event in Miami. We intend this to be a technical training and educational symposium, not an industry meeting. There is no membership, no fee to attend, nothing to join, and no profit involved. We are aiming to include line and QC supervisors, as well as executives. Our past conferences have been very successful but they have been kept smaller (110 attendees this past June).
If you are planning to attend this brand-new training symposium, you must register by February 20th, 2017. For the first time, we are using an online service to streamline the registration process. If you plan to attend, you must register on Eventbrite. There is no registration fee.
 
<H3 CLASS="paragraph">About the Symposium</H3>
As an attendee, you will participate in a multi-disciplinary technical training and educational symposium aimed at providing line and QC supervisors with advanced insight into fuel handling. There will also be discussion of the standards from SAE, ASTM, IATA and EI, as they influence fuel operations and quality.  Discussions will include the latest in technical automation and how it can be incorporated into local fuel quality plans, as well as how each step in the fuel handling 'chain' operates and what they contribute to the fuels community with updates to organizational publications. Participants from both the government and commercial sector will participate in these discussions. Those already committed include: Gammon Technical Products, PecoFacet, Parker Velcon, Eaton Carter, Meggitt Whittaker, Liquid Controls/Avery Meters, Total Control Systems, SkyMark Refuelers, Beta Refueling, Engine and Accessory, Westmor, ProFlo, World Fuels, EI - Energy Institute, Conidia, Inspectorate and United Airlines.  Our goal is for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the supply chain from refinery to wingtip and how technology advancements contribute to overall fuel quality. and to meet the people who write this standards. You will gain knowledge from and make connections with industry experts on all aspects of aviation fuel handling. More people need to know about organizations like SAE, ASTM, IATA and EI. This is a multi-disciplinary training operation, not a meeting or conference.
Each participating company will have a table display. This is NOT a business show. We are planning for 150-250 guests. We cannot expand beyond 250, so register NOW! Seminars will include: Filtration and Control Systems, Filter Separators, Monitors, Digital Pressure Control, Analog Pressure Control, Differential Pressure Control, Flow Control, Basic Vehicle Maintenance, Meters and Controls, Fuel Quality Control, Additives and Injection, Hydrant System Issues, contamination sensing, cleaning up contaminated fuel, system design, EI Activities, ASTM/CRC/SAE Update, Military Update and Safe Operation Overview. We will use a combination of speakers and panels. (Schedule to come).
