Join the American Museum of Ceramic Art as they take over our monthly family workshop and teach participants to create coil pots from clay!

Join the American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) as they take over our monthly family workshop on March 12 at 1:00 p.m! Their &#x27;MudMobile&#x27; educators will lead the whole family on a clay workshop to create coil pots. The class will begin by looking at 1 - 5 pieces of artwork from their education collection while learning about their background. Then, the instructors will teach basic clay working techniques to create an art piece. This workshop is open to all ages and no prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided to participants. In accordance with the City of Los Angeles municipal code, Self Help Graphics will need to verify proof of vaccination for people 12 years of age or older; or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of visiting our cultural center. All people 18 years of age and older must also show identification upon entry. Thank you for working with us to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and that we&#x27;re in compliance with the City of Los Angeles ordinance. People who do not show either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will unfortunately be turned away.
