The Halp Network is a trusted network of creative entertainment professionals and small businesses.   We lauched the Entertainment Academy to provide hands-on experience for folks looking to grow their skills in a practical fashion within the rapidly changing world of entertainment.THNEA workshops are taught by working professionals and designed to advance and elevate the entertainment industry and those involved in it. In a collaborative and engaging environment, come learn something new and share what you know.

Come see what the voice-over world through their unique perspectives, get to know the differences in acting for video games, animation, and dubbing, and learn the ins and outs of the industry!This event is FREE. Along with frequently dubbing many foreign live action films. In 2021, she recently launched a media company with other BIPOC women called Cocoa Creative Media, and had the honor to be requested by Lena Waithe and Hillman Grad Productions to create content for the show “Twenties” on BET.Kimberly Brooks is an industry proven voiceover dynamo, gaining recognition for her performances on many respected animated shows and interactive video games. In addition to having one of the more sought after commercial voices, Kimberly is also known for her extensive on-air promo work with networks such as NBC, FOX, SoapNet, Investigation Discovery and is currently "the voice" of E! South Africa.Kimberly's work in interactive video games includes the "tough-but-fair" ASHLEY WILLIAMS on the beloved "Mass Effect" Series. She can also be heard on the "Batman: Arkham" game series as the ORACLE, as well as the notable roles as DAISY FITZROY in "BioShock Infinte: Burial at Sea" and BAD JUJU in the more recent "Skylanders: Imaginators".Phil LaMarr is a Los Angeles native, Phil is an alumnus of Yale University and The Groundlings Theater and is perhaps best known as one of the original cast members of MAD TV, “Hermes” on FUTURAMA, "Marvin" in PULP FICTION, “Green Lantern” on JUSTICE LEAGUE and as the voice of SAMURAI JACK. For over 30 years, Phil has thrilled audiences with his work on camera and behind the mic on TV shows such as STATIC SHOCK, FAMILY GUY, YOUNG JUSTICE, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, THE FLASH, SUPERGIRL, GET SHORTY, LUCIFER, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and VEEP; feature films like MADAGASCAR 2, INCREDIBLES 2, and THE LION KING (2019) and video games including FORTNITE, SHADOW OF MORDOR, and the METAL GEAR SOLID, INJUSTICE and MORTAL KOMBAT series. His stage work includes productions with The Actor’s Gang, South Coast Repertory, Sacred Fools Theatre, and Phil also portrayed “Cowboy Curtis” in "The Pee-wee Herman Show" both on at The Stephen Sondheim Theatre on Broadway and in the Emmy-nominated HBO special. Currently, in addition to writing and producing the animated series "GOBLINS," Phil is performing monthly with "THE BLACK VERSION," appearing in Cartoon Network’s CRAIG OF THE CREEK, Netflix’s MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION and THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Mela Lee - Best known as Lifeline in Apex Legends, Jade in Mortal Kombat, Princess Zanda in Marvel Avengers:Black Panther's Quest, Rin Tohsaka in the Fate Franchise, Tikki in Miraculous Ladybug, and Maestro Moon in DoRe+Mi with Kristen Bell- Mela has appeared in over 250 Film, Television, and gaming titles.
