Join Fearless Femmes in celebration of National Women’s Month on March 10 with cocktails and conversations, featuring Mindie Barnett, author of You Don&#x27;t Need to Be a Bitch to Be a Boss: How to Flaunt Femininity, Embrace Empathy, and Win with a Vengeance, in an exciting Q &amp; A moderated by Philadelphia Inquirer City Desk Editor Jenice Armstrong. In a world of “Me Too,” women are struggling with the notion of softness and empathy while living up to the strong-suiter persona to win at work. Compassion and femininity are superpowers, and toughness and fear will never earn trust and loyalty in the workplace or life. While many women fight to put on their best “bitch face,” they should simply slip on a smile instead. In her book, Barnett explores her own experiences working for the “devil” in that famous book of Prada and how she constructed her company on the complete opposite premise of leading with fear. Instead, she embraces her femininity and steers her team with a sense of warmth and compassion without losing her competitive edge. Learn how to create camaraderie with your competition, inspire your team to soar, and rock an Haute shade of lipstick while doing it.Armstrong will moderate a Q&amp;A dive into why women compete and the importance of women supporting women. Barnett will share some of her actionable information from the book and also share some anecdotes about her own past experiences competing with women.
