CRNY Info Session: Central New York

Creatives Rebuild New York (CRNY) is a three-year $125M investment in the financial stability of New York State artists and the organizations that employ them. Guidelines for CRNY’s Guaranteed Income for Artists and Artist Employment programs will be released on Monday, February 14 on the Creatives Rebuild New York website.CRNY has partnered with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and several regional organizations across the state to co-host online information sessions for applicants to learn more about both programs. All events will provide live ASL interpretation, live simultaneous Spanish interpretation, and live closed captions in English.During each information session, CRNY team members will share details about eligibility requirements, selection processes, and deadlines for both programs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with artists and organizations in a given region or community.Registration is required. Feel free to attend the info session that covers the region or community with which you feel the best alignment. If you’re unable to attend your desired region or community info session, we encourage you to attend a session that fits best with your schedule;all info sessions will cover statewide application information.

CRNY Online Information Sessions

Attendees will learn about CRNY programs, their eligibility requirements,  the application process, and will also have the opportunity to ask questions and build connections to local resources and potential partners.

About Guaranteed Income for ArtistsCRNY’s Guaranteed Income for Artists (GI) program will provide regular, no-strings-attached cash payments to 2,400 New York State artists who demonstrate financial need.About the Artist Employment ProgramCRNY’s Artist Employment Program (AEP) will fund employment for 300 artists working in collaboration with community-based organizations across New York State for two years. Artists will receive a salary plus benefits and dedicated time to focus on their artistic practice. Community-based organizations will receive funding to support their collaborations with artists.
