Artist Pradeep Thalawatta speaks to Assistant Curator, Sandev Handy about the creative processes behind ‘Athi Vishesha (Extra Special)’ and how his practice has evolved over the years. ‘Athi Vishesha (Extra Special)’ by Thalawatta will be on display at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Sri Lanka during Rotation 1 of ‘Encounters’ until 10 April 2022.கலைஞர் பிரதீப் தலவத்த துணை எடுத்தாளுனர் சந்தேவ் ஹண்டீயுடன் 'Athi Vishesha (Extra Special)’ படைப்பின் பின்னணி மற்றும் எவ்வாறு அவரின் கலைப்பயணம் காலப்போக்கில் பரிணாமம் அடைந்துள்ளது என்பதை விளக்குகிறார். தலவத்தவின் ‘Athi Vishesha (Extra Special)’ நவீன மற்றும் சமகாலக் கலைக்கான இலங்கை அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் 'சந்திப்புகள்' முதலாம் சுற்றில் 10 ஏப்ரல் 2022 வரை காட்சிப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கும்.‘අති විශේෂ (Extra Special)’ පිටුපසවූ නිර්මාණාත්මක ක්‍රියාවලියත්, මේවන තෙක් සිය ව්‍යවහාරය පරිණාමයවී ඇති ආකාරයත් පිළිබඳව, ප්‍රදීප් තලවත්ත සහය අභිරක්ෂක සන්දෙව් හැන්ඩි සමග කථාකරයි. තලවත්තගේ ‘Athi Vishesha (Extra Special)’ ‘මුණගැසීම්හි’ පළමු වටමරුවේදී 2022 අප්‍රේල් 10වන තෙක් ශ්‍රී ලංකා නූතන හා සමකාලීන කලා කෞතුකාගාරයේ සංදර්ශිතවනු ඇත.
