A conversation about the challenges and successes of preserving Black history sites.

Join us for a conversation with Lawana Holland-Moore, Program Officer at the National Trust for Historic Preservation&#x27;s <a href="https://savingplaces.org/african-american-cultural-heritage#.YgFhO-rMI2w" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund</a>, about saving Black history sites. We&#x27;ll talk about some of the challenges and barriers that make saving these sites difficult. We&#x27;ll also hear about some inspiring projects that the Action Fund is supporting. Holland-Moore will also discuss preservation of sites associated with other marginalized groups, such as those that explore Asian American, Native American, and LGBTQ history. Finally, learn about ways we can all be involved in the preservation of BIPOC sites. This is a virtual event. Please register in advance. This event is free!
