About this event

I have had many people say to me over the past several years, "I want to do God's will, but how do I know for sure what that is?

Each one of us faces this question throughout our lives. In this retreat, we’ll explore how we can discern God’s will for us in the different situations in our lives. Most of our choices in life are decisions between two (or more) good options. When we intentionally seek to discern God’s will, we are able to joyfully and wholeheartedly pursue the choice made.

During our time together via Zoom, we will explore practical steps you can take every day as part of your life of prayer to:

  • Prepare yourself to hear God's voice
  • Discern between God's voice and your own will
  • Recognize the Holy Spirit's guidance in your choice

The retreat will consist of five different sessions via Zoom and will take place between Friday evening, August 14th and Saturday afternoon, August 15th. The format will be a combination of input from the presenter, personal reflection, small group discussions, and large group sharing.

  • Session 1 - Friday, August 14 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm
  • Session 2 - Saturday, August 15 from 10 :00 - 11:00 am
  • Session 3 - Saturday, August 15 from 11:00 am until noon
  • Session 4 - Saturday, August 15 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm
  • Session 5 - Saturday, August 15 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm
