A Workshop on giving and getting the touch you want!

In this workshop we will share with you a life-changing secret to getting and giving the touch you want and crave - asking for it!Is it really that simple? Yes, it is. Is it easy? Not always. Most of us have layers of stuff keeping us from simply asking for what we want. From cultural messages that it isn’t ok to ask for stuff, to our fears of rejection, anxiety that our desires are strange, or to having suppressed our desires for so long that we are no longer sure what it is we really want.To ask for what we want requires us to get really honest with ourselves and find the courage to really be vulnerable. And trust us, being vulnerable is the sexiest thing there is. There is no intimacy without it.The good news is, we’re going to be your coaches, cheerleaders and muses for this evening where we’ll make a group pact to show up authentically and take risks, agree to honor each other’s no’s, encourage each other to try new things, and welcome changing our minds.We will spend the evening sharing a really simple, yet powerful tool and practice - the Wheel of Consent - that can help navigate all of this. What is so powerful about this tool is that it helps us get really clear and specific in our communication of what we want - whether it is how we want to be touched or how we want to touch someone else.And then we get to practice with each other! We are going to guide you through the process every step of the way with playful activities - giving you prompts, the questions to ask, examples, and lots of check-in reminders.That’s right - at this event we will be encouraging you to TOUCH each other. Remember, that it is the wheel of CONSENT we are exploring - so you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. If you showed up and just said no to every invitation for touch, what a powerful experience you would have in owning your right to say no. Everything will be fully clothed and no gential contact. (But you’ll likely leave with some really good ideas of where this could go without clothes and with genitals involved ;)This event is open to all genders and all styles of relating. Bring your bad-ass single self. Bring your partner, your spouse, your girlfriend and your boyfriend, your friends with benefits, your fuck buddy, that cutie from the coffee shop you’ve been crushing on. We’ll be encouraging you to play and interact with lots of different people, so if you are in a relationship, come with a clear understanding of what your relationship agreements around touch with other people are.Your desires are welcome in this space. Your fears are welcome in this space. Your emotions are welcome in this space. All of you gets to be here.Please note that there will be no late entry to this event. Entry will be cut off promptly at 5:30pm to ensure the privacy and safety of every individual. This is a sober event.
