Infinity Presents: Relational Living - a Practice of Us-Consciousness

Infinity Mental Health Counseling is a family-style group practice composed of mental health professionals who provide high-quality individual and group psychotherapy to people in our New Paltz, NY office, as well as throughout NY state via telehealth. Our primary focus is providing excellent care to our clients. We serve children, adolescents, young adults, and adults of all ages through evidenced-based modalities tailored to an individual's particular needs. Infinity is also a resource for mental health professionals, providing educational presentations on topics related to the mental health field. We are active community members and facilitate/participate in networking opportunities and support of our colleagues. We are proud to be a reliable source of information, support, and collaboration within our community.

Infinity Mental Health Counseling

An eye-opening discussion chock full of relational insight for therapists and non-therapists alike.

In this online workshop, Rebecca Wong, LCSWR offers a brief overview of the basic tenets and practices of Relational Life Therapy as a therapeutic model and relational practice for healing. We begin with deepening our understanding of helping clients, and ourselves, to develop a minute-by-minute observational self-practice. Learning to observe what state we’re relating from, especially when under relational stress, is the central practice of relationship mindfulness. To help us see ourselves, we also explore the practice of self-esteem and how to use protective/containing boundaries to be simultaneously connected and protected in relationships. From there, we build in tools of relational recovery, empowerment, and reawakening, to help individuals and couples lovingly, assertively, and authentically show up.About the Presenter:Rebecca is a licensed clinical social worker for more than 17 years. She received her Master’s in Social Work from New York University in 2003. She is certified in RLT and DARTT, and is currently training in Somatic Experiencing®; all modalities for relational healing which she uses in her work with couples and individuals. Her teaching style is experiential and she has been co-facilitating Terry Real’s Essential Skills Relationship Bootcamp since Oct 2020. Rebecca maintains an online private practice in New York, Colorado, and Massachusetts and hosts the Connectfulness Practice and Why Does My Partner podcasts. And she resides in New York’s Hudson Valley with her husband, daughters, and a handful of four-legged furry mischief-makers.
