Anywhere: Personal Care Kits with ETSS thru 3.27.22

We empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. Check back frequently, as we post new service opportunities on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Seeds of Caring

Children will pack care kits and make cheer cards to welcome New Americans to our community.

Who this anywhere service project is for: Ages 2 - 12.What you&#x27;ll be doing: Children will participate in an empathy building activity then will take action by packing 2 or more personal care kits for New Americans.When you&#x27;ll be doing it:This anywhere service project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are! Donations may be contact-free, porch-dropped March 25-27 at a Seeds of Caring volunteer&#x27;s home in New Albany, Westerville or Upper Arlington at addresses provided in the service packet. How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.The meaning-making: Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you&#x27;ll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project&#x27;s guided discussion focuses on New Americans and inclusive communities. Approximate Cost: $10 for supplies (Exact donation needs will be included in the service packet. Kids will be packing 2 or more kits with items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste).Why you&#x27;ll be invited to donate:Every time we&#x27;re able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it&#x27;s with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
