Black Warrior Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore the Black Warrior River and its tributaries. We are a citizen-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting clean water for the sake of public health, recreation, and wildlife habitat throughout our patrol area, the Black Warrior River watershed.

Join us for a day of service on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Meeting point: TBARegistration: 9:30-10:00Safety: This event will take place along the roadside in an area that may not have sidewalks, so please only sign up if you feel comfortable with this. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult.What we encourage volunteers to wear/bring:1. Comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little wet or dirty (preferably long pants)2. Your protective mask3. Closed-toed shoes4. Water What we will provide:1. Garbage bags2. Gloves &amp; Litter Pickers**Event organizers have taken extra steps this year to be COVID conscious and to protect our participants during this outdoor event. Therefore, masks are required during this event.
