Straight Up & Toasted Feat. Ferio Tego Cigars & Woodinville Whiskey

Fine Tobacco Club was founded in 2009 in New York City as “Fine Tobacco NYC.” It began with a simple goal: to bring together cigar smokers to appreciate the art and craft of fine tobacco together. What started as a few friends learning about cigars together has become perhaps the largest regularly meeting cigar group in the world. Each month, we bring together anyone who loves cigars, libations, and good conversation for cigar and spirits pairings, live jazz events, summer rooftop events, new product releases and more. After more than 200 gatherings over 10 years, Fine Tobacco Club now seeks to bring new experiences, friendships, and products to fine tobacco lovers everywhere.

Ferio Tego Timeless SupremeA powerhouse blend originally launched by Michael Herklots under the Nat Sherman name, Ferio Tego Timeless Supreme is a Nicaraguan puro produced by Plasencia Cigars. The blend features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler and delivers complex but assertive notes of toasted wood, cocoa powder, and a tasteful dash of pepper.

Woodinville WhiskeyThis truly small-batch bourbon starts with traditionally grown corn, rye and malted barley. All of our staple grains are cultivated exclusively for us on the Omlin Family farm in Quincy, Washington. The grains are mashed, distilled, and barreled in our Woodinville® distillery, then trucked back over the Cascade Mountains to our private barrel houses, where Central Washington’s extreme temperature cycles promote the extraction of natural flavors from the oak. Prior to being coopered, the barrel wood is seasoned in open air, rain, wind, sun, and snow for eighteen months, softening the wood’s harsh tannins. The barrels are then slowly toasted and heavily charred to further enrich the wood’s desirable flavors. This meticulous process yields a truly hand-crafted spirit with aromas of crème brûlée and spice cabinet, as well as notes of rich caramel, dark chocolate, and vanilla bean on the palate with a sweet, lingering finish.

One of the last spots where New Yorkers can still mix scotch and smoke. New York Magazine captured it perfectly when it wrote, "An air of vintage class pervades this sprawling midtown cigar bar—just what you'd expect from the team responsible for Grand Central's Campbell Apartment."
