Training Description:

24:7 Dad® program training from the comfort of your office or home! Delivered via webinar by expert NFI staff with engaging content and interactive components.

This training event helps you meet the criteria (e.g., of a funder or organization) for having your 24:7 Dad® facilitators formally trained on implementing the program.

Benefits:

  • Offers an affordable way to train new and experienced facilitators (staff or volunteers) and other staff and stakeholders
  • Addresses how to implement the program with fidelity
  • Addresses how to modify or shorten the program for different settings
  • Helps facilitators become comfortable with the curriculum content and components

During the webinar training, you will learn:

  • The primary objective of the 24:7 Dad® program
  • The pro-fathering characteristics the program develops
  • About the curriculum structure, format, layout, and topics
  • How to implement the program with fidelity
  • Use of better practices for the successful implementation of the program
  • How to evaluate the program

You will also learn how to:

  • Facilitate the 24/7 Dad® Program in a group-based or one-on-one setting
  • Facilitate the program virtually
  • Use other NFI resources that enhance the impact of the program
  • Leverage ongoing support from NFI

To be clear, this is not:

  • A training on how to train other facilitators of 24:7 Dad® (i.e. a train-the-trainer or master trainer)
  • If you're interested in a train-the-trainer/master trainer option, contact Chief Program Officer Erik Vecere at evecere@fatherhood.org

There will be a one-hour lunch break at 12 Noon Eastern Time. Attendees will receive a training certificate upon confirmed participation in the morning and afternoon portions.

For further questions, please contact Jacquie Evans at 240-912-1263 or jevans@fatherhood.org.

We believe every child deserves a great dad.

National Fatherhood Initiative® (NFI) is a 501c3 non-profit organization started in 1994 to reverse the nation's trend toward father absence. And our mission? Transforming organizations and communities by equipping them to intentionally engage fathers in their children's lives.
We do this through the production of hundreds of skill-building resources and curricula for fathers (and mothers!), and training programs to help family and fatherhood practitioners effectively engage fathers in their children's lives. We also provide hundreds of free resources to fathers - and practitioners working with fathers and families - everywhere.

NFI is the #1 provider of fatherhood resources and the #1 trainer of fatherhood program practitioners in the country. To date, we have distributed 11,023,399 fatherhood resources through our FatherSource™ Resource Center, and have trained over 44,933 individuals from over 10,091 organizations on how to deliver our programs to dads. To learn more about us, visit fatherhood.org and fathersource.org.
