Children will create Valentine's crafts to donate to homebound clients with Meals On Wheels to Spread the Love this February!

Who this anywhere service project is for:Ages 2-12.What you&#x27;ll be doing:This anywhere service project is family and group friendly! Children will grow in empathy through a Valentine&#x27;s themed read aloud, then they will create Valentine’s crafts and send them to <a href="https://www.lifecarealliance.org/programs/meals-on-wheels/meals-on-wheels-facts/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Meals on Wheels</a> to be donated to homebound clients with their meal trays to spread the love this February.When you&#x27;ll be doing it:This anywhere service project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are! This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on February 20th. Full drop-off and mailing details will be included in the service packet link provided in your confirmation email.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.The meaning-making:Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you&#x27;ll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project&#x27;s guided discussion focuses on seniors and kindness. Approximate Cost: &lt;$5. Use craft supplies on hand, or the printable templates provided in the service packet.Why you&#x27;ll be invited to donate:Every time we&#x27;re able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it&#x27;s with the help of supporters like you.
