Other ingredients popular in folk magick for romantic enchantment include human or animal remains, menstrual blood, henbane, honey, worms, verbena, beetle wings and roses.Renaissance practitioners (14th-17th century B.C.) developed secret spells to add effectiveness to one's marriage, attract a wealthy lover, or enhance intercourse.
