Join us for a therapeutic Black History-themed painting session while sipping on a non-alcoholic beverage at Virginia Avenue Park. The class will be led by educator La Shaunn Spivey-Angeletti. Proud to be an educator for over 20 years, La Shaunn Spivey-Angeletti teaches parents how to tap into their children’s innate gifts and talents. This leads into developing well-rounded and satisfying adulthoods. Referred to as a creative teacher with natural storytelling skills, Ms. Spivey teaches with every learning styles in mind. As a two time bestselling author and speaker, she covers topics from love languages to graduating through a pandemic. Her most popular signature talk is a bicoastal interactive series called Parent BOOTCAMP.Ms. Spivey believes that in order for children to freely value their dreams, so must their families. Her belief has led her to develop a bi-annual event for busy women to take a break called REFLECT | REFRESH | RETREAT. This event allows women to take their capes off for a weekend. This luxury experience offers pampering, counseling, self-care lessons, gifts, and so much more. In addition, Ms. Spivey has a membership based group called the Honoring HUR Dreams Program. This is a high-touch, accountability program that helps women to achieve specific goals. With six months of intense support and coaching access, her clients have been excited about the results they’ve experienced. Ms. Spivey is the founder of a free Facebook group called Ladies Night In. This group has become a safe space for likeminded women to connect in sisterhood. This group has been pivotal when it comes to helping families through current events including the worldwide pandemic of 2020.As a guest speaker, Ms. Spivey teaches a bi-monthly series called “A RAM Minute with the Dream Cultivator Ms. Spivey”. This segment is featured on the Facebook group, Raising A Mogul. This group is known as, “the best parent management platform on the planet”. As a mother of five amazing children who each have entrepreneurial endeavors, Ms. Spivey presents lessons that help to support both parents and their moguls when it comes to maintaining healthy relationships between business and family. Her newest project which bridges all ages has been the development of the Pride Collection by Dream Cultivator Ms. Spivey. Here she offers custom sip and paint parties for social and therapeutic events. Whether virtual or in person, Ms. Spivey has a way with making every painter feel stress-free and accomplished by the end of the session. Her innate ability to use laughter, empathy, and a dash of whit captivates audiences of all ages and encourages them to enjoy the moment, intentionally.Every Dream Cultivator Enterprise by Ms. Spivey event is developed with the whole family in mind .As an engaging curriculum designer and facilitator Ms. Spivey’s mission is for families to grow through the developmental stages stronger and happier together. She understands the value of working together as well as the power of creating a safe space for all members to reboot independently.
