Thank you for volunteering to participate in the 2017 HIT Advocacy Day event.  We look forward to seeing you in Austin on April 12th, 2017.

Mark your calendars for April 5th, 2022!As a Health IT Professional and Texas citizen, we need your help to educate policymakers and advocate for improvements in healthcare systems through the use of technology.We&#x27;ll kick off the 2022 Texas Health Advocacy Forum activities on Monday evening with a networking social and training. (Register for Monday&#x27;s event here). Tuesday morning, we will meet with Texas legislators and their staff to discuss key priorities. In the afternoon, we will hear from keynote speakers and will wrap up with panel presentations on key Texas issues.Topics of critical importance to Texans include:<ul><li>Connected Health</li><li>Cybersecurity and Data Privacy</li><li>Interoperability</li><li>Health Equity</li></ul>We look forward to having you and your colleagues join us for a productive day at our state&#x27;s capitol.   Please note: You will be representing HIT professionals across Texas through your local HIMSS chapter, rather than representing the organization where you are employed.Hotel Information:  HIMSS has not reserved a block of rooms for this year&#x27;s event. We recommend staying in Downtown Austin at a hotel of your choosing.
