David Jimenez, a singer-songwriter from the Rio Grande Valley is hard to pin down.Troubadour, soul man, guitar slinger and crooner can all be part of the same song with him. But whether it’s the pop melodies over roots R&B that is his solo project (The Last Jimenez) or the “Tejano soul” that pulls from the border town sounds of Deep South Texas is his band project (Nuevo), the common thread is soul. This soul has connected him with artists like Carrie Rodriguez, Los Lobos, City and Colour, Greyhounds and many others. Follow David on social media @thelastjimenezThis event is free and open to the public. The first 50 guest will receive a continental breakfast and coffee by <a href="https://www.flavorcatering.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Flavor Co.</a> The outdoor setting of the Terrace at the Tudor Cottage in Pease Park will allow the show to go on!
