Join the nonprofit Solar Oregon for the latest in a series of zero energy site showcases that demonstrate the value of combining solar and energy efficiency in a new home or business.On January 26th we will take a guided tour of a model home in <a href="https://ichijousa.com/communities/reeds-crossing/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ichijo&#x27;s Reed&#x27;s Crossing</a> neighborhood in Hillsboro, Oregon. Ichijo is a Japanese builder that specializes in high performance and technologically capable homes. The Reed&#x27;s Crossing neighborhood is one of the first &quot;zero-energy-ready&quot; housing tracts in Oregon, making it a trend-setter in sustainable development. Before construction, each home is modeled to ensure that it can achieve zero net energy use over the course of a typical year through a combination of efficiency and rooftop solar-readiness.Enjoy a guided tour of the site, get your questions answered about solar and energy efficiency, and meet other clean energy enthusiasts.
