Join three-time GRAMMY®-nominee Skylark for Sub Rosa: Secrets Revealed, a unique Skylark program developed in collaboration with composer Gregory Brown and best-selling author Dan Brown. What might happen if Robert Langdon, acclaimed professor of Symbology at Harvard University (and fictional hero of Dan Brown’s best-selling novels, including The Da Vinci Code), were enlisted to explore hidden symbols, secret codes, and long-forgotten historical connections buried in manuscripts of choral music from Hildegard von Bingen to modern-day commissions? In addition to Skylark’s vocal performance, the program will feature illuminating on-site narration from Gregory Brown and an engaging visual presentation of photographs, illustrations, and animations that will accompany the music. Author Dan Brown will join the program via video, which will also include visits by several featured composers.Join us for a pre-concert talk at 6:15PM. ​COVID-19 PROTOCOLSVACCINATION POLICYProof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to performance, as well as matching photo ID, will be required upon arrival at Skylark concerts. Vaccinations will also be required for staff, patron-facing volunteers, and all Skylark artists. Skylark artists will also be taking COVID tests before and during our projects.MASKSAll patrons and staff will be required to wear masks. Masks must cover the nose and mouth and must be worn during the duration of the performance. REDUCED CAPACITYTo maintain safe distancing, we will be limiting capacity in many of our smaller venues. Capacity limits for each concert will be made based on local virus prevalence and public health guidance nearer to the time of each performance.Skylark will continue to closely monitor local, state and federal policies regarding indoor activities, and will plan our safety protocols accordingly.
