Bluegrass and ice cream…what could be a better summer kickoff?!

Enjoy ice cream courtesy of BACOA, then a toe-tapping live bluegrass set with the Sunnyside Up Bluegrass Band in our ballroom following the Barrington Art Festival. Featuring some of Chicago's finest acoustic string band players, the Sunnyside Up band has a long history of combining different styles to create new ideas, from straight-ahead bluegrass to instrumentals, two steps and the occasional pop cover. It will be a delightful evening you won’t soon forget! NOTE: This event is entirely in-person. No virtual tickets are available. Includes an ice cream social beginning at 6:30 p.m.
