From farts and freaks to race and religion, we have comics debating everything! Each week new comics get new topics for your enjoyment. Its not only the best stand up comedy debate show, but the only show where you as the audience, decides who wins!

Stand Up Bay Area is the only place for stand up comedy in Sf live stand-up comedy every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, year-round. Located in San Francisco's historic Cole Valley, the heart of Haight, Stand Up Bay Area, is the premier choice for laughs whether you live in the Bay Area or are just visiting.

About the show

Each show features 8 hand-picked, experienced comedians and an occasional guest drop-in.

Please arrive at the theater by 10-15 minutes early to grab a drink and get a seat of your choosing. Past performers have been featured on Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO, Conan, and more! The bar opens at 4pm, and the show starts is dependent on the day.

The theater has a full bar with a 2 drink minimum. Get there early to grab a cocktail or beer of your liking!

The show always 70-90 minutes. With so many great food choices near by, it’s hard to choose. Here’s a list.

We have plenty of street parking right out front

If the event is sold out, will you have tickets at the door?

If the event is sold out online, we will not have any tickets at the door

If I can't make it to the show anymore, will the fees be refunded?

All of our comedy shows are free even though we have a drink minimum. We do ask that you stay true to your reservation as we like to have things set up for the amount of folks we expect to be coming out
