The Animation Project (TAP) is a non-profit therapeutic workforce development program unlocking the professional and creative door for NYC young people with drive and nascent animation talent. TAP develops New York City youth for the local animation industry through software training and prepares them with personal and professional development.

This is an open studio style virtual group for current trainees of TAP’s Animation Training Program. A space to connect as creatives and humans. This group will be offered each month, facilitated by a different creative arts therapist or CAT team. The space will consist of an opening and closing ritual, with time in between for independent art making and voluntary reflection of the work created. Group members are invited to bring any art materials they wish to use. All levels of art experience are welcome!
