A festive guide to a more sustainable holiday with an edible gifts bake along!

Hosted by Nat &amp; Diane from The Sustainable Life School join us for a jolly informal sustainable event getting you in the festive spirit and sustainable ready for the celebrations. This climate friendly session will cover top holiday tips in sustainable fashion, food, energy &amp; packaging. Equipping you with facts on climate change, the 5Rs of waste reduction and climate actions you can take, not only will it help you reduce your impact on the environment but also save you money. Chocolate bark In a true spirit of zero waste, the toppings are suggestions and people can use what they find at home. You can use one type or more, dark, milk, white; cooking chocolate is better for this recipe•	300g chocolate in total (If you have less don’t worry)Toppings which can include:•	Nuts•	Candies (smarties, skittles in red and green if you want to be hard-core Christmassy)•	Dried fruit (sultanas, cherries...)•	Coconut shavings •	Spices! (if that&#x27;s your groove - cinnamon, black pepper, chilli)•	Edible glitter/decorations (little sprinkly ones, not baubles!)•	Flavorings (mint, orange, strawberry...) - if you&#x27;re fancy ;)Marinated cheese•	Brie or other soft cheese (Flying Squirrel do a vegan camembert if you would like to make this vegan) Roughly one triangle makes one bigger jar•	Sunflower / Olive oil – have the bottle at handThe below additions are optional/free to combine to suit taste•	Shallots/onion (any colour you wish!)•	Peppers (again, red, yellow, whatever you like/have)•	Dried porcini mushrooms (a small handful)•	Peppercorns (yet again, colour of your choice!)•	Bay leaves•	Garlic cloves•	Salt•	Paprika•	Chilli flakes•	Dry herbsUtensils:Bark: Double boiler/pan with a snuggly sitting glass OR stainless-steel bowl sitting over it, OR a microwave for melting the chocolate, spatula/palette knife/spoon, knife, chopping board, baking tray with baking paper/silicone mat, fridge :)Cheese: chopping board, knife, bowl for soaking the mushrooms if using, clean jar/s with lid/s
