Find your people, Find your practice. We are a place where community and contemplation meet. No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. If you are opposed to sharing your lovely face let is know and we'll do our best to avoid that. But by using an event ticket you agree to let The Hive share your image in photo, audio, and video.)

Click here to learn more.</a></p><h2>Sound Bath: Celebrating the Solstice</h2><h3>Domains: Contemplative Practice, Healing Work</h3><p>Join Chris for an hour of deep relaxation and inner healing featuring 8 quartz crystal singing bowls!</p><p>During this 75-minute escape, we will begin with centering breathwork to prepare the mind and body for a 45-minute sound bath.</p><p>The intention for this event is that you will have an experience. What kind of experience is totally up to you! Through intention, deliberate breathing and meditation, we will create an energy field that has the potential to facilitate the experience of non-ordinary states of awareness. No prior experience necessary. No outside agents needed. All of this work is done with your breath and your mind…and a little help from the soothing vibrations of the crystal bowls!</p><p>The bowls are tuned to 432Hz, the Earth’s resonant frequency, as well as the 7 primary chakras. The specific frequencies of the bowls cause the cells in our body to vibrate facilitating the release of stuck and stagnant energy. The gong produces a wide range of healing and auditory vibrations. As this ‘old’ energy begins to move and shift, ‘fresh’ healing energy begins to circulate through the mind, body and Spirit promoting deep, multi-dimensional healing.</p><p>Please visit my website www.DivineEnergyWorks.com for more information on the chakras and sound healing.</p><p>Bring your crystals or other sacred items you would like charged with energy. They like singing bowls too! Consider bringing your journal or notebook to capture what arises during this deeply healing experience. Most importantly, bring an open heart with a desire to heal your mind, body and spirit.</p><h3>COVID Considerations:</h3><h3>Since the &quot;we space&quot; of the Hive is a community effort, it is important to us that we partner to make our space as safe as possible to the most vulnerable among us. The intent is to live out a core value of the Hive, which is the co-creation of the common good. </h3><h3>Because of this, it is our policy to require masks regardless of vaccination status for this class. In addition, we ask anyone who is feeling sick or has a high temperature to not attend until they are recovered. </h3><h3>We trust that if you are in community with us that you will join this shared intention.
