We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Contemplative Photography: Elements</h2><h3>Domains: Creative Expression, Contemplative Practice</h3><p>It is winter time, the days feel darker, snow has (hopefully) fallen, your breath can be seen when you walk out in the morning, fires are lit and the ground is cold and (maybe) frozen.  All of these are some of the elements of our life. This contemplative photography session will focus on these four central elements of life - Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.  We’ll be exploring how we experience each one in this winter season and how we are seeing each in our lives.  We will be meeting for five weeks in this session - the first session will be an introduction to the practice and an overview of our themes and then each of the following four weeks will be centered on each theme. No photography experience is necessary but a camera (any kind of camera) is required. But most of all, an open heart and an openness to what you see around you is what is needed. </p><p>Edward Goode is an ordained Presbyterian minister and a passionate photographer. Over the last seven years, photography has been the primary tool for his personal spiritual growth as he has explored many different texts and also used his photography as a spiritual discipline.
