The Texas Witches' Ball presents Thinning of the Veil. Join us for an adults-only evening of magic, vendors, and performances.

The Texas Witches Ball presents a mystical evening to welcome the season of Samhain. This is a Formal Adult Only event - must be 18 years or older. In keeping with the theme of the thinning of the veil, this event will be a masquerade! We will have a "Best Masked" contest. This is a chance for guests to dress in their best bewitching ballgowns, fancy fantasy formals, glamourous gothic gowns, or vivacious vampire vibes. Come meetup and mingle with other magical members of our community with dancing, music, and entertainment. All spiritual paths are welcome. Vendor and sponsor opportunities are available. It is important to The Witches’ Ball that we give back to our local community. During the event, we will be selling raffle tickets for some amazing items donated by our vendors and sponsors. The proceeds from these raffle sales will be donated to a non-profit organization that provides help and services the betterment of our community. We are proud to announce our charity focus for the ball is The Order of the Good Death (https://www.orderofthegooddeath.com).Our charity focus for the Thinning of the Veil ball helps to assist families with the passing of their loved ones. The Order's mission is helping to ease the transition of death. That means committing to staring down your death fears—whether it be your own death, the death of those you love, the pain of dying, the afterlife (or lack thereof), grief, corpses, bodily decomposition, or all of the above. Accepting that death itself is natural and part of our wheel of life, but the death anxiety and terror of modern culture are not. This unconventional 501-3C is one of the leaders in the Death Positive movement by "BUILDING A MEANINGFUL, ECO-FRIENDLY, AND EQUITABLE END OF LIFE."In many traditions and cultures, October to November is a period to remember our ancestors and loved ones. We honor our family and friends who have ‘passed beyond the veil’ that divides the plane of our physical world with the plane of the spirit world. It is believed that during this season, the veil is thinner, and it is easier to commune with the spirits and energies in this other plane. Strange and unusual things come out to play and our ball is a celebration of this liminal season of magic! Let musical muses inspire you to dance with live music. Be entranced by ethereal performances. Participate in a unique ritual in our Cauldron Room. Have your fortunes told or a reading by visiting our Diviner's gallery area. Our VIP Lapis ticket holders are invited to an exclusively curated experience and private performances in our Seance Room! We look forward to making magic with you!

The Dress Code of the Witches' Ball events is an important aspect of creating an enchanting experience for everyone. Our planning coven and community have been working hard to create an unforgettable event that will magically bewitch you for a few hours. Wearing the proper attire is part of that experience. We will enforce the evening’s dress code. No street clothes will be allowed – this includes jeans, shorts, ball caps, sportswear, pjs, or superhero costumes. Come on, it is a ball!We welcome all style of witches everything from classical, romantic, gothic, vampy, time turner/steampunk, and fantasy/fairy witches! We will have a Best Masked contest with a wonderfully wicked prize! Tickets are non-refundable.Event coordinators reserve the right to postpone or reschedule this event up to 1 year due to weather, covid, or other unforeseen events. Tickers are not refundable, but will be honored up to a year.

TICKET TRANSFERS:All ticket transfers MUST be coordinated with The Witches’ Ball. To transfer your tickets, please email us at thinningveilball@gmail.com and include your ticket order number and name. Also, please include the name and email of the new ticket holder.We urge our guests not to send funds to anyone without first making sure that the original ticket holder has contacted us about the transfer.The Witches’ Ball is not responsible for any lost or stolen funds, due to ticket transfers.
