What is included in the registration price?

Registration includes access to all talks, off-site tutorials, vendor tables, and off-site instrument demonstrations. It also includes morning coffee and gourmet lunch each day, as well as 2 evening receptions Wednesday and Thursday nights. Receptions include alcoholic beverages for those over 21.

Will there be instrument demonstrations?

Yes! There will be instrument demonstrations by our sponsors as well as science demonstrations from our Berkeley science community. More details to come.

Can I present a poster?

Yes! Please see poster submission information at this link (https://forms.gle/6Xib6tqcAiZH4uNu7). While all attendees can present a poster, only student presenters are eligible for a poster prize.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We highly recommend taking BART (www.bart.gov) or other public transit if possible to this conference as parking is very difficult/expensive. There is valet parking only for hotel guests at the Residence Inn for $54/day at this time. Public lots viewable here: www.cityofberkeley.info/parking/

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring a copy of your ticket for fastest check-in. Also hang on to your Badge as you will need it for all 3 days.

Question 9

What COVID-19 precautions are you following and are there any guidelines for attendees?

Accepted Answer

The conference center is a modern, state-of-the-art location with adequate ventilation for our group size. The doors to the conference hall open directly onto a large terrace and we can have the doors open as weather permits. Lunch will be served on the terrace (weather permitting).
