Psychodrama, the action method developed by Dr. J.L. Moreno and Zerka T. Moreno, engages people and groups in many settings, including psychotherapy, coaching, education, spiritual direction and others.

With psychodrama celebrating its 10st anniversary this year, we look at the special gifts and evolution of this amazing action method as well as its many applications to psychotherapy, education, coaching, addictions counseling, law and other disciplines. Psychodrama is the basis of what we call the creative arts therapies today, although it may be challenging to find a philosophy that is hardly known by the public and at the same time so firmly embedded in our culture with group therapy, support groups, social networks, role play, experiential psychotherapy and other action activities.Yet, have you ever tried “role play” in your psychotherapy room, coaching space, addiction treatment center or support group – and have it fall flat? This is what happens when we’ve not studied the role theory of Dr. J.L. Moreno have not learned the steps that contribute to a fully present director, as the facilitator is called, and readiness for taking and playing roles. In this three-hour online training, presented by Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, and Linda Ciotola, M.Ed., TEP, you will learn:<ul><li>A brief history of psychodrama, the action method developed by Dr. J.L. Moreno and his wife Zerka T.
