<h2>Death by Chocolate...NOT Breast Cancer: A Chocolate and Champagne Tasting  - A FEW TICKETS LEFT</h2><p><em>All current Covid – 19 Protocol will be observed.   This is a 21 &amp;  up event only.</em></p><h3>Event Details<strong> </strong></h3><p><strong>***Join us for the Third Annual Krewe de Pink Death by Chocolate...NOT Breast Cancer.   A Limited Ticket Event.***</strong></p><p>STILL SELLING TICKETS FOR TONIGHT&#x27;S EVENT $75 FOR GENERAL ADMISSION ENTRY AT 6:30.  GET YOUR TICKET BEFORE IT&#x27;S SOLD OUT.</p><p>Guests will enjoy the scrumptious chocolate creations* with bubbly** which has been graciously provided by Josh Wine Cellars. Live music will be performed by the Delgado Jazz Combo. There will be raffles to include a stunning pair of Diamond Earrings donated by Diamonds Direct as well as a Champagne basket. A fabulous pink photo station for guests will be available for guests to capture the moment. As a thank you, guests will receive a chocolate treat as a takeaway compliments of Delgado Community College and Callebaut.</p><p>The event is a live competition. Each student will be judged by guests and local chefs on their chocolate-inspired dishes with 1st and 2nd Place in both the People’s Choice and Judges Choice Awards. Scholarships and cash prizes are being awarded for each category. </p><p>VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive access to the event with a 5:30 pm entry to mingle with the local celebrity chefs and the <a href="https://www.krewedepink.org/6-sweet-survivors-2022" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">2022 Sweet Survivors</a> and get special takeaways. General admission entry is at 6:30 pm. Tickets are limited, go on sale June 12th, 2022 and sell out in advance of the event. For those that need special assistance, please let us know before the event so we may accommodate you.</p><p>* For those with food allergies, each dish is designated with common allergens. Upon entering the event guests will be handed a special plate to hold their flute and chocolate. Guests will then move to each chocolate station and be served a sample of the students’ creations. There will be live music, raffles and a photo station for guests to enjoy. When done tasting, guests are asked to vote for their favorite sweet and savory dishes for the People&#x27;s Choice Award.</p><p>We ask that guests recycle their flutes and plates. Instructions can be found on the back of the menu or at a recycling stations.</p><h3>Attire</h3><p>The attire is Festive Cocktail. Feel free to wear wigs, boas or whatever helps you feel festive. Wearing Pink is a plus!</p><h3>Tickets</h3><p>General admission is $60 per person in advance and $75 day of event with a 6:30 pm entry . VIP tickets are $100 with a 5:30 pm entry and are sold in advance only.  </p><p>Cannot make the event but want to support breast cancer research? Consider a donation in honor of a loved one. Donate at https://www.krewedepink.org.</p><h3>Parking / Directions</h3><p>Free secure parking is available in the lots behind the mansion, in the across the  street (Iberville), under the building next to the mansion (3801 Canal Street) and throughout the neighborhood. Parking attendants wearing pink hats will be able to direct you to the closest spot. A map of parking is below. </p><p>The Schoen Mansion is conveniently located at 3827 Canal Street in Mid-City with easy access from the interstate and street car line.</p><p><strong><em>Heading to Carrollton from I-10  West</em></strong><strong>: </strong></p><p>Get off at the Carrollton Exit and go to the Tulane Ave exit. Go to Canal Street, take a right and then a left at N. Scott Street.</p><p><strong><em>Heading to Carrollton from I-10 East:</em></strong></p><p>Get off at the Carrollton Exit. Continue past Costco, over the bridge and take a left at Washington Ave. Take a left at Carrollton Ave. Go to Canal Street, take a right and then a left at N.
