This year we will hold our Red Sand Project installation between the City Services Center at 3111 Citizens Way, Columbus, GA 31906 and the Muscogee County School District Building near the Public Library. The event will be held following the January 11th 9AM City Council Meeting. Red Sand Project is a participatory artwork created by Molly Gochman that uses sidewalk interventions and earthwork installations to create opportunities for people to question, connect and take action against vulnerabilities that can lead to human trafficking and exploitation. Today, 40.3 million people are in slavery (Red Sand Project).Take part in raising awareness for those affected by modern day slavery. Join the movement by filling sidewalk cracks with red sand and document your sidewalk transformation on social media using #RedSandProject #MicahsPromise
