Help welcome New Americans this holiday season by providing winter gear & activities to help them stay warm & smiling all winter long.

Who this anywhere service project is for: Ages 2 - 12.What you&#x27;ll be doing: Help welcome New Americans this holiday season by providing winter gear &amp; activities to help them stay warm &amp; smiling all winter long! Children will assemble 2+ winter welcome kits and make cheer cards for New Americans served by <a href="https://www.crisohio.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Community Refugee &amp; Immigration Services (CRIS)</a>.When you&#x27;ll be doing it:This anywhere service project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are! Donations may be contact-free, porch-dropped December 17-19 at a Seeds of Caring volunteer&#x27;s home (Gahanna, Powell, or Upper Arlington) at one of the addresses provided in the service packet. How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.The meaning-making: Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you&#x27;ll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! Approximate Cost: $25 (for 2 kits) Why you&#x27;ll be invited to donate:Every time we&#x27;re able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it&#x27;s with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
