OUR STORYVegecultureis a comprehensive public health initiative, sponsored by Representative Doreen Carter, dedicated to providing sustainable solutions to solve the "food desert" problem, so that residents in low-income areas have access to affordable, healthy food options within District 92 and beyond.Offering a wellspring of resources to survive in a food desert,Vegeculturechallenges the community to consume more fruits and vegetables and cultivate a healthy lifestyle through wholefoods, holistic self-care, nutrition education, and urban agriculture training.OUR MISSIONOur mission is to champion the art and science of growing fruits and vegetables to inspire future farmers and position wholefoods as a catalyst for healthy living.Through the disciplines of STEM and STEAM education and collaborative partnerships with Georgia schools, the business community, public libraries, and government leaders, we aim to cultivate aVegeculture.

Representative Doreen Carter challenges the community to a 21-DAY VEGGIE CHALLENGE

To help you “Eat More Veggies” and “Keep District 92 Strong,” Representative Doreen Carter is challenging the community to a 21-Day Veggie Challenge, beginning on Monday, October 1, 2018.  The Vegeculture 21-Day Veggie Challenge provides an excellent platform to cutback on fast-foods and jump-start a healthy lifestyle with your colleagues, friends, family, and peers. It doesn’t matter if your prepared to commit to going 100% vegan or vegetarian or if you would only like to commit to having more vegetables with your lunch or dinner, this challenge is for you.
In view of the fact that we understand the most challenging parts of eating healthy are 1. developing the habits of eating healthy and 2. adding healthy recipes to your repertoire, your friends at Vegeculture Culture will be serving up simple recipes during our 21-Day Veggie Challenge.
To participate in the 21-Day Veggie Challenge this October all you have to do is commit one of the following options then click the green "TICKETS" button to signup:
