About this event

  • 1 hour

Join us for an in-person tour of the 21 Acres Farm to explore how agroecology, soil health and land stewardship can build resilient local food economies and support direct climate action. Farming has never been more essential to our local and global communities.

Walk alongside a knowledgeable member of our Soils Team and visit our organic fields, wetlands, solar-powered projects, and much more as we uncover what farming looks like in the Sammamish Valley.

Bring your questions! This interactive hour will be held in person on the 21 Acres campus. Meet us in the lobby on the second floor 10-15 minutes before the start of the tour. Details for the tour will be provided via Eventbrite after registration.

Want to get your hands dirty and learn more? Register for a Volunteer Farm Steward event and work with 21 Acres staff on a variety of seasonal farm and restoration projects that build soil health and maintain the farm during the growing season.

Note: The Farm Tour is not ADA Accessible. Dress for the weather; the paths will likely be muddy, so appropriate footwear is recommended. Space is limited; be sure to sign up via Eventbrite.

The 21 Acres Center for Local Food & Sustainable living is a global leader in sustainable and regenerative practices, serving as a living laboratory and learning center for conscious consumers who want to learn new, more sustainable ways of living.
