Welcome to the 20th Annual Communities Collaborative Brain Development Conference's online registration!

The Communities Collaborative Brain Development Conference is an educational conference dedicated to service providers, teachers, professionals, and parents. The conference aims to bring together individuals, programs, and schools that work with children ages birth through school age. We are dedicated to sharing high-quality, up-to-date information and to providing useful strategies to better serve children and families in our communities.

Hotel Accommodations

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Shooting Star Casino Hotel & Event Center for August 13th, 14th, and 15th. When registering, please request your preference. Hotel costs are at the participant’s expense. Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. You must call the hotel directly to make your hotel arrangements, call 218-935-2711 or 1-800-453-STAR. Reference booking ID #16407.

  • Pre-Conference Fee $50
  • 1-Day Fee $150
  • 2-Day Fee $280

Conference Meals

Meals are provided for conference participants only. Please specify if you are requesting additional meals for nonparticipants. Additional meals will be $65.00 per person and must be paid in advance. No exceptions.

Do conference name badges need to be worn?

Name badges will be issued at the registration area and must be worn to access the conference, events, and for meals.

Can I get CEUs for this conference?

White Earth Tribal Community College offers CEU’s for this conference. CEU’s are free. The college representatives will be available during the conference to sign up for this.

Can I get a certificate for this conference?

Conference Certificates will be given for clock hours for each day of the conference. Achieve Center for Professional Development will also offer DEVELOP Approved hours in "Professionalism". (Child Care/Early Childhood Professionals, Child Care Aware/Parent Aware)

Can I bring my child(ren) with me?

As much as this conference is about children, and as much as everyone loves children, we ask that participants do not bring children into conference sessions and activities.

Conference Meals

Meals are included in the cost of registration for the conference participant only. Meals can be purchased for non-participants for an additional fee of $65. Additional meals must be paid for in advance. No exceptions.

What types of amenities are available?

Conference attendees will enjoy a beautiful complimentary conference tote bag with self-care items, options for credits/CEUs, shopping for conference clothing and gear, local vendors, silent auction items, and door prizes.

How does the Silent Auction work?

Various items will be available for viewing and bidding onsite. All proceeds will go to the conference scholarship fund.

Are Scholarships available?

There is a limited amount of scholarship funding available for specific groups such as parents/guardians, Child Care providers, Foster Care providers, or other groups stated by the funding agency to attend the full conference. Contact jessica.harstad@whiteearth-nsn.gov for info or an application.
