This event is FREE to Northwest Ohio ESC member districts. Due to the popularity of this event, attendance is currently limited to Northwest Ohio ESC member school district staff only.

AUDIENCE: Northwest Ohio Educators in Defiance, Fulton, Henry and Williams counties; Superintendents, Principals, Teachers, Counselors, Intervention Specialists, SPED Directors, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, School Nurses, any interested school staff.

HOW TO REGISTER: Register individually or as a district team/group. To register as a group, a district administrator or representatives must first create a group name and password to share with their staff. Please note that participants will be asked at a later date to supply their choice of breakout session(s), once sessions are announced. Select the green "Register" button at the top of this page to be walked through the process.

This event will be held on-site at the Northwest Ohio ESC main building in Archbold, OH.

Event & Check-in Time, Session Times, Food Trucks and additional details will be shared with registrants as the event date nears.

Contact hours available per keynote and breakout session. Plus, earn college credit for your professional development through Ashland University.

ABOUT FEATURED KEYNOTE, GERRY BROOKS:

Gerry Brooks is a veteran educator in Lexington, Kentucky. His educational experience includes six years in the classroom, two years as an intervention specialist, and 12 years as an administrator.

He is a passionate public speaker whose focus is on encouraging and helping teachers improve their instructional abilities. He also has a desire to help administrators successfully lead their staff.

An encouraging speaker, he has spoken to educational groups all around the nation. His focus is on encouraging teachers to improve their instruction through personal climate and culture strategies. He desires to help administrators focus on how to lead all staff in a positive and constructive manner.

His following on social media has developed through humorous videos that focus on real-world educational experiences. He is currently followed on these social media sites by over 500,000 people.

The NwOESC cares about your safety. Our building receives regular sanitization through the use of electrostatic spraying. Hand sanitizer, wipes and other PPE are available throughout the building or upon request. Masks are not required in our building at this time. Kindly assess your health prior to the training and stay home if running a fever or you develop other symptoms such as chills, cough, or shortness of breath. Notices will be shared with registrants vis email should any additional guidance be required at the time of the event.

  • Registration is required to receive a Certificate of Attendance for licensure renewal/LPDC.
  • The event will begin promptly. Please arrive early to get settled and check-in.
  • Food truck(s) will be available on-site. Light snacks and refreshments will also be available for purchase on-site in the café (debit/credit only).
