Alberta Abbey aims to nurture the creative, visual and performing arts in N/NE Portland by amplifying opportunities for Black and underrepresented communities. The Abbey serves this mission by providing affordable education, gallery, studio, and performance spaces, and showcasing events for local groups of all ages.

YOUTH MUSIC SHOWCASE - Featuring local high school students
The Brass Cats, Scintilla Lane and The Desembled

Featuring students from Parkrose, Grant, McDaniels, Lakeridge and more.The Brass Cats - an independent, student-led brass band representing extraordinary high schools from the Portland metro area.Scintillia Lane - Portland's new and upcoming indie rock group. A tight-knit group of young friends creting beautiful and characteristic covers and originals.The Desembled - A small ensemble of increible young jazz players from the Alan Jones Academy of Music.
