2021 AIDS Memorial Quilt Reception and Community Remembrance

Brooklyn Arts Center Annex

Join us November 28th from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the Brooklyn Arts Center Annex for our AIDS Memorial Quilt Reception and Community Remembrance. Please join us to remember those lost, celebrate those who are still with us, and do our part to eradicate the stigma around AIDS/HIV. In recognition of World AIDS Day, this event will bring awareness of the ongoing epidemic, its impact on marginalized populations and our community at large. Our region is one of the nation’s areas of increasing rates for new HIV infections and number of persons living with HIV.  Join us and the National AIDS Memorial as we commemorate World AIDS Day this year. All proceeds benefit the LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast and HIV outreach and education efforts.Cost: $50 per ticket, which includes entrance to the venue and heavy hors d'oeuvres from Milner's Cafe and Catering. Cash bar will be available.Masks will be required indoors.
