I'm a Certified Voice Technician, Contemporary Vocal Coach, a Singer and a Songwriter. I teach a variety of modern and old school contemporary styles: Pop, Rock, Metal, RnB, Jazz, Folk, Americana, Country, Musical Theatre, and Songwriting.

This class is for singer/songwriter styles of music: folk, country, Americana, rock. Beginners or experienced writers welcome.$15 Bring something to share, in progress is fine, and get group feedback and professional coaching by me. For example: song forms, rhythm, rhyme, brainstorming ideas, putting lyrics to a melody, how to write for a singer, how to sing your own songs with expression, and the importance of natural sounding speech. -----------About your instructor: Tamis Baron is singer/songwriter, an alumna of the Songwriting Lyric Courses at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Honors Graduate of Mendocino College's music department, and an active member of SongTown Nashville, where she received the "Most Wanted" badge for excellence in songwriting February, April and May 2022.
