My life and passion is all about listening to and telling stories, my own and those of others. I have spent 15 years in human insights and brand strategy, design jewelry that uncovers materials' new meanings, and teach Pilates/yoga/dance-rooted movement to connect people to themselves and others. My experience in using amultitude of approaches to dig into and share the narratives of what, how and why people, culture and brands do what they do is driven by my innate curiosity and unflinching desire for connection, creation and conversation.

For most of us, our relationship with IG, Twitter, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. it&#x27;s complex and multilayered. On the one hand, it can help us network, feel connected, share our ideas, and be inspired. But, on the other, it can bring a lot of comparison, disconnection, and feelings of &quot;lack of.&quot; Let&#x27;s come together to share and listen to our stories. How has social media affected our lives (the good and the bad), what has helped us end toxic behaviors, what we are struggling with at the moment, and how do we want our relationship with it to be in the future.</em></p><p><strong>If you&#x27;ve been to other Dinner Confidential gatherings, this is a bit different:</strong></p><ul><li>this is open to all genders, not just women and non-binary femmes/folks</li><li>dinner/food will not be served</li><li>there is no cost to attend</li><li>this is a smaller group of max 6 people</li><li>there will be some slow movement and meditation</li><li>this will be taking place in a shared community space booked for this private event, not at my home (please note that there is a flight of stairs to access the space)</li></ul><h3>What will we do in our 2.5 hours together?</h3><ul><li>ground through slow intentional movement and body-based tools</li><li>connect through conversation</li><li>reflect through meditation</li></ul><h3>What to bring?</h3><ul><li>arrive in comfortable clothes for moving meditation/lounging: we will be seated on the ground on mats/bolsters/pillows, but chairs will also be available</li><li>something to write with (journal, pen)</li><li>something to hydrate and nourish yourself: food will not be provided, so feel free to bring snacks and drinks</li><li>mask and hand sanitizer</li></ul><h3>What Covid precautions will be in place?</h3><ul><li>proof of vaccination is required </li><li>we will agree on mask protocol and comfort levels together</li><li>a self-screening checklist will be sent before attending</li></ul><h2>WHEN</h2><p>SATURDAY NOVEMBER 20 @ 2:00-4:30pm</p><h2>WHERE</h2><p>THE LIMINAL SPACE IN LIBERTY VILLAGE, TORONTO:<em> </em>exact location to be shared the day before the event</p><h2>HOW MUCH</h2><p>The conversation is <strong>FREE.</strong></p><p><em>Dinners are not-for-profit and typically $15 to cover cost of food, but since food will not be provided for this gathering, there is no cost to attend.</em></p>

<h2>MORE ABOUT DINNER CONFIDENTIAL</h2><p>During our intimate dinners (7-10 people max), our experienced hosts create a welcoming container for women to come together and talk with vulnerability and honesty about our most personal topics and emotions (e.g. self-confidence, fear, control).</p><p>After each dinner, we identify the key learnings and insights from the night and share them with our community so they, too, can benefit from the experience. You can read our stories via Medium or our website. We never share personal stories, those are strictly confidential.</p><p>We have hosted dinners in over 35 cities around the world, including New York, Miami, Toronto, Nairobi, Caracas, Rome and Perth. New cities coming soon. But usually, they don’t and that’s part of the magic. Coming into a place full of strangers to open up and share some of your most personal experiences is very powerful. No one there knows your history, you are a blank canvas. People won’t judge you or give you advice (unless you specifically ask for it). We are there to listen, share and connect.</p><p><strong>Do I need to prepare for the Dinner?</strong></p><p>A little bit! Your host will send all the details of the night via email, including a few questions for you to reflect upon prior the Dinner. All Dinners start with an intimate set of introductions, where each guest shares her stories and is deeply heard.</p><p><strong>How do you keep confidentiality?</strong></p><p>We include a vow of confidentiality in our invitation, and reiterate the importance of confidentiality at the start of each dinner. We create a strong container of trust and integrity and expect the same of all of our participants.</p><p><strong>What makes DC different from women’s circles?</strong></p><p>Our secret is our hosts and the stories we tell! Our dinners are led by professional moderators, researchers and facilitators all around the world. Brilliant women with years of experience conducting challenging conversations amongst diverse groups of people. We’re less about the woo-woo, and more about the raw, real and impactful conversations with tangible insights for our guests and community to take action and implement within their daily lives.</p><p><strong>What do you mean when you say “women”?</strong></p><p>Anyone that identifies as a woman in a significant way. We welcome women of all ages, colors, religions, sexual orientations and backgrounds. Non-binary folks, femmes, transwomen. All welcome. If you are male-identifying and would love to attend a dinner, let’s talk.</p><p><strong>What’s your cancellation policy?</strong></p><p>We put a lot of love and effort into these dinners so please do your best to avoid a last minute cancellation. If you need to cancel, try to find a replacement. All cancellations made less than one week in advance can’t be refunded.</p><p><strong>What are my parking options?</strong></p><p>There is paid street parking and a Green P parking lot.</p>
