<h2>Hosted by</h2><p>This workshop is organized by ATHENA and the Office of Faculty Affairs, in collaboration with Dr. Susan Ryan, A&S Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, Dr. Cara Cashon from Psychology, Speed School’s Dean, Dr. Emmanuel Collins, and other faculty to be announced soon.</p><h3></h3><h2>Abstract</h2><p>The University of Louisville Advancement Through Healthy Empowerment, Networking, and Awareness (ATHENA) is excited to invite you to a Mentoring Workshop on the topic of Promotion to Full Professor: Let’s Get There! </p><p></p><p>The workshop is mainly focusing on empowering Associate Professors to make the leap to Full. However, if you have already been promoted to Full Professor, especially recently, we would love to see you participate in the discussions and in the breakout groups. Your experience is invaluable.</p><p></p><p>If you are at the Assistant Professor stage, you are also welcome to attend if you are curious about the longer term career progression.</p><p></p><p><strong>Please note: we will send the official event link once registration closes. </strong></p><h2></h2><h2>About ATHENA</h2><p>Advancement Through Healthy Empowerment, Networking, and Awareness (ATHENA) is adapting evidence-based interventions to improve the professional standing and career opportunities for women STEM faculty at the University of Louisville (UofL). The interventions will be implemented with the goal of working to permanently implement best practices to produce systemic and permanent change throughout the University.
