Join us for the lighting of Big Santa with food trucks, live performances, food trucks, and a DJ spinning your favorite holiday tunes!

From the 1950s through the 1980s, the 50-foot Big Santa was perched atop a chimney in the mall’s parking lot and was seen for miles. For generations of Bergen County residents, Big Santa’s arrival signaled the official start of the holiday season.Westfield Garden State Plaza is excited to continue the tradition and celebrate the 4th annual lighting of the updated iconic Big Santa, in partnership with bergenPAC. This year, more than ever, the Big Santa lighting event aims to bring joy and a festive vibe to our community with performances from Broadway stars, emerging artists from the Performing Arts School at bergenPAC, and The Grinch- who will not be stealing Christmas this year. Paramus High School’s Marching Band will be performing to welcome the real Santa Claus in a fire truck! There will also be special appearances, trivia challenges, giveaways and prizes, food trucks and a DJ spinning holiday tunes.<ul><li>Big Santa Lighting Event</li><li>Friday, November 19th from 5:30 – 7:30pm</li><li>Parking Lot adjacent to Nordstrom and Design Within Reach</li><li>Admission: Free</li><li>Performances by:</li><li>Food trucks: The Lomo Truck, Cat Like Reflexes, Fresh Catch Streat’s, and Kiersten&#x27;s Creations</li></ul>Join us for this amazing holiday celebration and to support our local bergenPAC.The Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) is a non-profit performing arts center that delivers the arts and cultural events via hundreds of world class performances at affordable prices to Bergen County.
