A P–20 Collaborative Event

The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education, the West Virginia Department of Education, and West Virginia GEAR UP proudly invite you to Enroll. Enlist. Employ. — a statewide P–20 collaborative event uniting leaders across the entire educational and workforce pipeline.

From K–12 educators and postsecondary institutions to business partners, workforce leaders, and military representatives, this convening brings together all stakeholders who play a vital role in preparing students for lifelong success.

Together, we are committed to strengthening college and career exploration, aligning education with workforce needs, and ensuring every student graduates with a clear, supported pathway forward.

Key Highlights:

1. Dynamic Breakout Sessions: Engage in interactive breakout sessions led by seasoned educators and industry experts, covering a diverse range of educational pathways and tracks such as working with underserved and first-generation populations, providing more college- and career-readiness opportunities, how to better support student success, innovations in instruction and supporting the whole student, and much more.
2. Inspirational Keynote Addresses: Gain valuable insights and inspiration from renowned thought leaders in education who will share their expertise and vision for the future of teaching and learning.
3. Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow educators, administrators, and industry professionals from across the region. Share best practices, collaborate on innovative ideas, and build a supportive network of peers dedicated to driving positive change in education.
4. Gallery Walk: Explore a curated selection of partnering organizations that help to foster student success.

Join us as we align efforts across the entire educational pipeline to ensure every student has access to exploration, opportunity, and a successful transition into their chosen pathway.

Registration Details:

The Summit is appropriate for anyone interested in supporting student development and achievement, including educators, counselors, and administrators from the preschool, elementary, secondary, and postsecondary education systems; workforce development professionals; community development specialists; business and community leaders; military; parents; and students!

There is no cost to attend the Summit; however, travel, lodging, and event parking expenses are the participant's responsibility. The event is being held at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.

ROOMS

Rooms are limited; please be timely in making your reservations. Due to the busy time of year and all of the wonderful events taking place in Charleston, additional rooms will not be requested as only a specific number of rooms at the group rate were contracted with each hotel. Once the group blocks have all been reserved, you may be able to reserve rooms outside of the group rate block depending on room availability. PARKING

Parking is FREE to attendees at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center parking garage ONLY. Other options include walking from your hotel or parking at the Charleston Town Center Mall parking garage for $2.00/day. There is NO parking validation anywhere other than the Coliseum garage.

SCHEDULE

The conference will begin at 8:00 a.m. on July 15th and continue until 5 p.m. Check-in and a light breakfast will begin at 7:00 a.m.

Keynote speakers will be announced in the coming days.

On July 16th the conference will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m. Check-in and a light breakfast will begin at 7:00 a.m. that morning.

Space is available for up to 500 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You must register by July 3, 2026 to attend.
