2026 Spring Simulation Exercise

Hands-on, scenario-based training opportunity that reinforces core CERT skills, strengthens coordination, and enhances overall preparedness.

One Simulation, Two Roles

It's time for Allen TX CERT's spring simulation to keep our emergency preparedness skills sharp. We are looking for both Volunteer Victim Participants as well as CERT Responders from surrounding communities to join us.

2026 Spring Simulation Exercise - Volunteer Victim Participant

Allen TX CERT needs volunteers to play the roles of survivors in a simulated disaster. This is a fun and interactive community service event for parent teacher organizations, families, scout troops, student organizations, or any group or individuals wanting to help support Allen emergency readiness.

Participants can expect:

• Realistic, fake wounds applied
• Staged in the field for our CERT Responders to find, extract, and treat
• Certified volunteer hours

2026 Spring Simulation Exercise - CERT Responder

On behalf of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), you are cordially invited to participate in our upcoming Spring Simulation Exercise on April 18th from 1000 to 1500 hours.

This exercise is designed to provide a hands-on, scenario-based training opportunity that reinforces core CERT skills, strengthens coordination, and enhances overall preparedness in a collaborative environment. We are excited to extend this invitation to neighboring CERT programs and would greatly value your team’s participation.

Participants can expect:

• A realistic, multi-scenario simulation
• Opportunities to practice triage, search and rescue, and team coordination
• Interagency collaboration and networking
• A supportive environment focused on learning and skill-building

We encourage teams to attend in uniform and bring any standard CERT gear they typically deploy with during exercises. Please RSVP by April 11th to confirm your team’s attendance and receive additional logistical details, including scenario briefings and safety information. We look forward to working alongside your team and strengthening our collective readiness through this engaging and valuable exercise.
