Overview

Explore stunning historic and distinctive homes in Newberg while supporting Yamhill County CASA during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

VIEW LOCATIONS HERE!

Take a self-guided peek into some of Yamhill County's most treasured architectural gems while supporting a cause that changes the lives of vulnerable children in our community. The Solid Foundations Tour, an annual fundraiser for Yamhill County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), celebrates the diverse and remarkable architecture that makes our community truly unique.

Creating a solid foundation in a child’s life lies at the heart of CASA’s mission. CASA volunteers are trained advocates appointed by the court to speak up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring their needs are heard in the courtroom, classroom, and community.

For our 2026 tour, we're excited to showcase a collection of distinctive Newberg properties, including a beautifully restored 1888 downtown landmark, the historic Baird House on Franklin Street, a charming turn-of-the-century home, a Victorian loft above one of Newberg’s beloved downtown shops, and more.

Guests will explore each location at their own pace while discovering the craftsmanship, history, and stories behind these unique spaces.

Don’t miss your chance to step inside some of Newberg’s most captivating homes while supporting children in our community.

The 2026 Solid Foundations Tour begins at the Chehalem Cultural Center.
