2026 Founder's Day Convocation
Join Morris Brown College as we celebrate the vision, resilience, and impact of our founders during the 2026 Founder's Day Convocation.
Each year, Founders Day provides the Morris Brown College community with an opportunity to come together, reflect on our history, and celebrate the spirit that has strengthened the College since 1881. The institution began as a bold act of faith by the African Methodist Episcopal Church and has grown into a lasting legacy of resilience, restoration, and opportunity for generations of Wolverines.
As we recognize our 145th anniversary, we honor the visionaries who established this institution for students who were historically denied access to higher education. Their courage continues to influence our identity and reinforces our shared purpose to educate, uplift, and transform lives. Founders Day serves as a reminder that community, belonging, and purpose are not abstract ideals at Morris Brown College. They form the foundation that guides our work today and supports a future filled with promise.
